What you'll find in the guides
The rest of My Danish Tutor is built around practice — exercises, word lists, conversations, grammar drills. The Guides section is different. These pages are the context around the practice: how to choose between learning paths in Denmark, what to actually watch and listen to, and the practical decisions that come with serious Danish learning.
Two categories sit underneath:
- Learning Danish in Denmark — the on-the-ground practicalities. How to find a tutor, which language schools are worth your money, how the free municipal classes work, and what level of Danish actually changes life for an expat, a student, or a working professional.
- Danish Media — the input side. Curated lists of Danish shows, films, podcasts, YouTube channels, books, and music for learners — sorted by how learnable each option actually is, and how to use them effectively.
When to use the guides
Start here if you're new to learning Danish in Denmark and aren't sure where to put your time and money. Or if you've been studying for a while but feel like progress has stalled and you're looking for a different angle of attack.
If you're already grinding through grammar and just want the next exercise, go straight to grammar, reading exercises, or word lists. The guides will still be here when you need them.
